Weekly Rewind #3

Going shopping with my Mom!

At the beginning of this week, my Mom took me to Christmas Tree Shop. We both really like this store because they usually have really cute seasonal items and a lot of furniture/house decor as well. This time when we went, my Mom bought some things to create a fall decoration for the front yard. She bought a small hay bail and decorative flowers. She also used some things we had at home and wants to add a larger pumpkin to the display. I really like how it turned out! I got a pair of Halloween socks, fall window stickers, curtains for my room at school and hangers for my room. I had a really good time going to the Christmas Tree Shop with my Mom.

My Moms super cute fall display!
Fall socks for $1!

This hangers were only $3!
Curtains for $5 a piece! They are super simple but really cute

In the middle of the week. My friend Emma and I walked around campus and had a little photo shoot which was really fun. We also had a meeting for a club we do called Puppy Raisers were we work with puppies that are training to be guiding eye dogs! Here are some of the pictures we took around campus!

The sweater I’m wearing is from Zaful! Click here if you want to check it out! (I would suggest sizing up if you want it. I got a large and I’m usually a small/medium). My leggings are from Forever 21!

On Friday Night, I came home and I watched Aladdin with my family. I thought the movie was really good and you should definitely check it out if you haven’t seen it yet! I also made popcorn for the movie. I make it on the stove and its really good and a healthy option. To make it, you put some olive oil into a pan and let it heat up on medium heat for a couple of minutes. Then, add a handful or two of popcorn kernels. Make sure not to put too much because they’re going to get a lot bigger when they start to pop! Then cover the pan, leaving a small part of it open to let air in and prevent the popcorn from getting burned. After that, hold the handle of the pan and move the pan back and forth as you wait for it to pop. Once it is all popped, I mix in some salt. It’s really easy to make and super yummy!

On Saturday, my family and I went on a walk and my brother practiced running for cross country. After that, my Dad and I went to a high school football game. It was really fun and I am glad I got to go with him. At night, we ordered steak sandwiches and pizza which was really good.
