Welcome back to the blog! I wasn’t able to post on Sunday because I was at a volleyball tournament for my sister (check out the pictures I took on my Instagram) and then I moved back into school. This weekend was very busy. Today, I am back with a new blog. In today’s post, I just wanted to talk a little bit about this upcoming semester and also show you some of the supplies I bought for classes.
Today was my first day of classes. I am taking a total of 6 classes this semester. Some of them meet once a week and some of them meet multiple times a week. It worked out that I have 2 classes on Tuesday/Thursday and 3 classes on Monday/Wednesday/Friday. If you are like me and like to move around, I would recommend splitting up your classes this way. I like moving around as much as possible, so having 4 classes in a row in one day didn’t work out for me. I like splitting them up so that I am not in classes for too long without breaks. Every day of the week, my classes start at either 9:00 or 9:30. My classes end around 1 each day. I like having earlier classes because I like to get out early in the day so there is plenty of time to do homework and relax.
As far as school supplies goes, I try to keep it pretty simple. In the past, I have tried using binders but that doesn’t really work for me because binders can get really bulky and also I don’t like having to worry about hole punching papers. Notebooks and folders have always worked the best for me. This semester, I got a 5-Subject notebook and three folders. I wanted to try the 5-Subject notebook instead of separate notebooks for each class. This way, when I go to the library or go home, I don’t have to worry about forgetting my notebook because all of my stuff is in the same place. I got my folders and notebook at Staples.
Another thing that I get every year is a planner. I like to keep track of all my homework and also keep track of things that I have to do every day. The planner I got this year is from Marshall’s.
Overall, my first day of classes went well. I’m almost finished with my Communications major which is really exciting!
Thank you so much for reading today’s blog. I hope you enjoyed! If you are in college too, good luck with your spring semester!
