A Weekly Rewind (Kinda) – Signed Ashlyn

If you have been around for a while, you know that I used to do a lot of Weekly Rewind blogs where I would basically review my week with you. Since quarantine started, I paused Weekly Rewinds because to be completely honest, there just wasn’t much going on! I wasn’t planning on doing a Weekly Rewind blog this week. I took a beach trip with my family so I was planning on blogging about that, but things changed unexpectedly, which happens. So, I decided to take this blog in a little bit of a different direction while still sharing some of the pictures from my trip. And the idea was born.

A Weekly Rewind (kinda)

Last time I blogged, I was talking about my 1 Year Anniversary of blogging which was a lot of fun. Since that blog, I spent a lot of time writing and working. I also have been catching up on some Netflix shows. If you have any recommendations at all, please let me know because I have been having a hard time finding a show that I like. I just recently started watching The Society but I’m not really sure if I like it yet. I have also spent a lot of time reading and would love book recommendations as well. I just finished reading Fahrenheit 451 and The Time Travelers Wife. Now I am reading Behind Every Lie which I like so far.

So this brings us to Monday. My family and I took a road trip and we all got mopeds. About 10 minutes into my little adventure, I took quite the fall. It could have been way worse than it was so I am thankful that it was just a lot of road burn and bruises. Basically what happened was I pulled over on the side of the road for a car to pass and my tire hit the dirt on the side of the road. I lost control and went down. It was super scary and I am so so thankful that the injuries are manageable. I have sooo many pictures but to be honest, they are pretty gross so I will spare you the details.

Anyways, after that happened we were going to go home, but I really wanted to stay. So we ended up getting lunch and going to the beach. I had a lot of fun taking pictures and watching my sister, brother and my dad in the water. And I was still able to get some of the pictures that I wanted!
