I recently got my summer FabFitFun box in the mail! If you have been reading my blogs for a while, you know that I LOVE my Fabfitfun boxes. If you didn’t know, FabFitFun is a subscription service where you get 1 box every season filled with 8-9 products. For the last two boxes that I received, I did not pick what came inside and it was a total surprise. For this box, I did pick what I got inside. I really love that I am able to either be totally surprised or pick what I get in the box. In the future, I may do a more detailed blog about whether or not the products work, but for now, I am going to give you a brief overview of what I got in my summer box.
First of all, the total value of my box was $350! This one single box has a higher value than the price you would pay for a year subscription. I think it is totally worth it. Plus, you get to try products you may have not found out about otherwise. Also, every box is extremely different so it is really exciting to see what you get in each one.
For my summer box, I received 8 products.
Now, I would NOT be one to spend $58 on a towel normally. But that’s what I love about these boxes. I get to try higher end products without breaking the bank. This towel is the perfect size. I love the colors and the fringe on the side. It is so soft and I will definitely be using it at the beach. It’s very modern, chic and super cute.
Hydropeptide Moisture Reset Face Oil: $120
This oil is $120! Yes, you read that right, $120. I personally would not typically spend $120 on a skin care product and it’s probably something that I would have never gotten to try if I didn’t have FabFitFun. This is for sensitive skin so it is perfect for me. It is supposed to protect your skin from environmental damage and it also locks in moisture. You can use it in the morning or at night. The reviews of this product are super positive and say that it makes your skin really smooth.
Blaq 5 Pack Hydrogel Eye Masks and Peel Off Mask Duo: $59
I used both of these products together and I really liked them. They are both super easy to use. For the eye masks, I just placed them under both of my eyes for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, they come right off. For the peel mask, you just put it on your t-zone and let it dry for 20 minutes. Once it is dry, you peel it off. I find that with a lot of the peel masks I have used in the past, they just don’t dry right or they hurt to peel off. This once came off pretty easily and left my skin feeling really smooth. Also, the bottle it comes in looks really small but it will last a while because you do not need to use a lot at all.
I love this thing. I have actually been wanting one for so long so I was really excited when I saw that it was going to be in my box. It helps to reduce puffy eyes and redness. I just use mine on my face, but it can also be used to help bug bites, sunburns and on sore muscles. All you have to do is put it in the freezer for at least 4 hours before you use it. It really does help!
Amika Brooklyn Bombshell Blowout Spray: $25
I haven’t had the chance to try this out yet, but I am really excited to see how it works. You just spray it on damp hair and blow dry to give your hair extra volume. It also smells really good. I have tried lots of hair products, but I have never tried a blowout spray so I am really interested to see how it works.
Winky Lux Uni-Brow Universal Eyebrow Pencil: $16
I am not really one to ever do my eyebrows because they are already pretty dark and full. But, I am interested in trying this product because I recently bought another product from the brand Winky Lux. I bought the color changing lip balm from Target which I talked about in a blog a few weeks ago and I really like it. So, since I already am familiar with this brand, I am excited to try another product.
Cali Cosmetics Foot Cream: $24
This product doesn’t need much of an explanation. Let’s be honest here. Sometimes, our feet get dry. This lotion helps them stay both soft and smooth. It also smells really good.
Spongelle Coconut Verbena Hand Cream: $18
I actually have gotten different products from this brand in past boxes and they always smell so good and make my skin feel really soft. It’s always good to have a good hand lotion. I really like this one and it will be my go to.
That is everything that I got in my summer box! I also linked all of the products so if you click on the name of each product, it will take you to a page where you can find more information.
