Weekly Rewind: Getting Ready for Fall and a Last Minute Concert

On Wednesday, I posted a blog titled “A Day in the Life: College Edition.” That blog was really fun to write and hopefully to read as well! This week, I did some fall activities to get myself in the spirit of the season, got to see my family, and went to a very last minute concert with my friend. Enjoy!

This week, the college workload really started to pick up. The tests are starting, papers are due and the flashcard making has begun. My planner is definitely filling up fast and my To-Do list for the day is getting longer! The good part about having a lot to do is I have felt like my week has been productive, and I did get to do some really fun activities as well.

One thing I did this week was got my nails done. I have had the same nail polish on my nails for a really long time and I thought it would be fun to get my nails done in a fall color. I usually like to get a color that matches the season, so during fall, I like to get either a dark red, orange or purple.

Another thing I did this week was went to my schools quad for some photos. It was really nice outside and there weren’t a lot of other people around. Here’s some of the pictures that from that day!

Later in the week, after my classes, my friend and I went to a concert that we didn’t know we would be going to until about an hour before it happened! Someone was selling two tickets to a concert last minute so we got them for a really good price. I got dressed and did my hair and makeup in a total of about 20 minutes. Somehow, we managed to get to the concert on time. The concert we went to was Jason Aldean and Kane Brown. It was super spontaneous and such a good time. I’m really glad we got to go!

I ended the week with a really fun fall activity…Apple Picking! I met up with my family and we all went apple picking together. It was so much fun and very relaxing. I usually go apple picking every year with my family so I’m really happy that we all found a time that worked for us because it was something really fun for us all to do together. It was a great way to end the week and prepare for the busy one ahead.

After apple picking, my sister came back to school to stay with me for the night! We went to a volleyball game together and made my favorite cookies.

This week was overall a really good one! I got to see my family, go to a last minute concert and do some fall activities. This week was a good balance of school and fun.
