Much Love for Love on Tour

Much Love for Love on Tour

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw all the Harry Styles content (you’re welcome by the way.) Whenever I go to a concert, it just makes me think about how absolutely crazy life is. Seeing a room of thousands of people who all paid money to watch this one person sing is such a crazy concept to me. More than that, people (including myself) are screaming, crying, dancing like crazy and are just so full of joy that they are there. It’s just such a crazy thing when you think about it. So, now that we’ve talked about that, let’s get into this show.

First of all, I love concerts and would go to one every weekend if I could. There are always such good vibes at concerts and everyone is always having such a great time. I have been to a pretty good amount of concerts I would say, including Harry Styles first solo concert. I bought tickets to Love on Tour (his current concert) two years ago. Buying them was quite the experience too. I had to get a presale code and then I had to log on right when the presale opened because the tickets tend to sell out fast. I logged in right on time, joined the virtual queue and somehow still ended up with hundreds of people in front of me. I waited and waited until it was finally my turn to go. I was texting my friend Kate the whole time talking about where we wanted to sit and what we wanted to spend. Finally, I got the tickets for myself, my sister and Kate. I was so excited, but the concert was still a whole year away….

So I thought.

The show was supposed to be in the summer of 2020, but got canceled because of COVID and moved to the fall of 2021. So then, we waited another whole year for the show. Point of the story is this was a long awaited concert.

There was even a time, a very, very small time where we were thinking of selling the tickets, but thank goodness we didn’t because now I wish I could buy tickets to more shows.

This concert was probably my favorite concert that I have ever been to. Like I said before, I have been to a lot of concerts, but there are very few where the entire venue is on their feet the whole entire time. Harry Styles concerts are an exception. His energy translates right to the crowd, and everyone dances along with him the entire time. There was even a point in the show where he said something along the lines of “is everyone ready for 15 minutes of straight dancing?”

Everybody dances like no one is watching which is something that a lot of people don’t usually do. It is so high energy that you don’t want to sit down, even if your feet hurt or you are getting tired. It’s truly a giant party.

Of course I have to also mention the fashion at these shows. I mean it’s like the Met Gala of concerts. Everyone has the cutest outfits on. Lots of sparkles, lots of boas and lots of really fancy looking pants. Seeing everyones outfits, and planning my own was really fun. Again, there aren’t a lot of other concerts where fashion is such a big part of the night, but it definitely is at Harry Styles. When we were driving down the street, you could tell who was on their way to the concert.

The songs of course were amazing. My favorite performances were probably Kiwi, the opening song Golden and What Makes You Beautiful. I don’t know why but I LOVE Harry’s version of What Makes You Beautiful.

I had such an amazing time at this show and it was such an unforgettable experience. At the first concert we went to, we sat all the way at the top, for this show we sat closer in the middle section. If there is another Harry Styles concert, I am so ready to stand in the pit.

I have been a fan of Harry Styles since the One Direction days, and seeing his concerts now is so much fun for me and something I look forward to long before it happens. I hope he goes on another tour soon because I’m already looking forward to it.
