Acai Bowl at Home (Super Easy, Super Yummy!)

Hey everyone! Since being at home, I have been trying some new recipes and trying to eat healthier. I wanted to share some of these recipes with you! One thing I have started making for breakfast is acai bowls. They are actually really easy to make and they are a great way to start the morning. Here’s how I do it!

What you put in your bowl is really up to you! For the smoothie base, you start with your favorite fruits. I use mixed frozen fruits, a half of a banana and some strawberries. Once I put my fruit in, I add an acai puree packet. I got these at Target. You don’t have to use these, but they help with the texture and the flavor. After that, I put in a scoop peanut butter and milk. Be careful with how much liquid you add because if you put too much, the texture will be off. I put 1/3 milk to 2/3 fruit at the most. Blend that all together and pour it in the bowl. The consistency should be pretty thick.

This is the puree I use. They are a little on the expensive side, so I usually only use them when I am making two bowls.

For toppings, I cut up strawberries and the other half of the banana and put them on top of the blend. Then, I sprinkle some granola on the top of the fruit. Lastly, I pour some honey over the top.

And that’s it! You have a super yummy acai bowl from home. I love getting these at restaurants but they are pretty pricey, so I am so happy I can make them at home now and save some money.
