Weekly Rewind #6

Week of 10/20/19

This week was a week full of studying, studying and some more studying. Sounds fun right? But, in between all the craziness of college, I did have some really fun days this week, and also came up with some new study tips. Lets get into it!

This week started the same way that it has the past few weeks have started…with a fun fall activity! This week, my family (including aunts, uncles and cousins) went on a hayride, followed a corn maze and ended with super yummy ice cream. It was really fun and I’m really glad I got to spend it with my family.

After the hayride, it was back to reality. This week, I had two tests and a lot of homework to get done. I find that studying in my room is very difficult for me because I get distracted from the TV and such. Some days I like to go to the library to study, but one thing I have found really helpful for me just in this past week is going to different places to study. This week, I went to two different coffee shops to study and I feel like the change of scenery really helped me to get work done.

Another thing that helps is only bringing what I need. Before I leave to get work done, I write down what I want to accomplish, how much time I want to spend and then I only bring what I need to bring. That way, I don’t feel overwhelmed bringing all my work with me and I feel more accomplished when I complete my goals.

My week ended with a surprise with my Mom! My Mom picked me up and brought me to dinner (which was much needed after this long week)! I was so happy she came to have dinner with me, and it’s always fun hanging out with her!

This week was a very school heavy week, but during these weeks, it’s important to add some fun activities into the week. I hope you enjoyed this blog!

Ashlyn
